As he wandered among the graves, a cold hand suddenly grasped his shoulder, sending a jolt of terror through him. Whirling around, Jake saw a figure cloaked in shadows, its face obscured by the mist. Before he could react, the figure vanished into thin air, leaving Jake alone in the eerie silence of the fog. Trembling, he hurried back to the village, his heart pounding in his chest as he vowed never to venture out on a night like this again.
